2006 Sendol Amateur Cup, 1d-9d Handicap Division (Winner: fromjava)

This is the 2006 Sendol Amateur Cup granted by the donation of Suk Choi (a.k.a. XY0908): this is an handicap division. There will be 20 rounds spread over 2 week-ends (4 days), with a new round starting every 4 hours. You can skip up to 16 rounds, so even if you can only play one round per day, you can still participate in this tournament! But of course, playing in more rounds than the minimum of 4 will give you a better final position - as long as you manage to win the extra rounds that you play in!

To choose which rounds you sit out, click on the link to the right where you sign up for byes. If you are on the server when a round starts, and you haven't requested a bye, then you must play in the round or take a loss.

Handicap tournament. The time settings are 45 min plus a 5 periods of 30 seconds byo yomi. Plus a 1 hour long rest in between rounds. A round thus lasts 4 hours.

The Cup is open to all amateur players (no professional players); IMPORTANT: it is not permitted to attend more than one division and you are expected to use your strongest account on KGS.
