July KGS+ Crazy Boardsizes Tournament : 11 (Winner: wasd)

Summer and holidays: let's have some fun. This month the divisions won't be about daytime but about boardsizes. We will test the following crazy sizes: 11, 17, 21 and 37.

The tournament rules will also be slightly different: all KGS users will be able to register, and users can join several divisions if they want (but if they win several prizes, they'll have to chose one of them only).

• The crazy boardsizes 11×11 division is a single elimination tournament played the same day, one round every 30 minutes.Please don't request a bye when there are 8 players or less left. You'll get disqualified if you do so.
• The crazy boardsizes 17×17 division is a 7 rounds swiss tournament, all played the same day, one round every 45 minutes.
• The crazy boardsizes 21×21 division is a 6 rounds swiss tournament played 2 rounds per day over 3 days.
• The crazy boardsizes 37×37 division is a McMahon tournament for all rated users played on 5 days, one round every day. Please make sure to register your strongest account to the 37 division.

Prizes

1. The winner of the divisions 21 and 37 gets 1 free month of KGS Plus and a teaching game with a teacher from the AyGoSchool.
2. The winner of the divisions 11 and 17 gets 1 free months of KGS Plus and a $18 gift certificate from Kiseido.
3. The runner-up of the divisions 21 and 37 gets 1 free month of KGS Plus and a $18 gift certificate from Kiseido.
4. The runner-up of the divisions 11 and 17 gets 1 free month of KGS Plus.
5. Each round (but the finale one in the elimination tournament), 1 week of free KGS Plus will be awarded at random.
