Welcome to the July KGS Plus tournament!
Crazy Boardsizes! 11x11, 17x17, 23x23, and 37x37!: Let's go crazy and have some fun! Registration is open to all KGS users, and you can enter as many divisions as you like (but you can only win 1 prize). Board sizes are 11x11, 17x17, 23x23, and the insane 37x37. Prizes will be given out every round, so even if you don't think you can win your division, you still have a chance at getting a prize.
11x11: Even game, Single elimination, will be played in the same day. 5 minutes Main time plus 5 x 20 seconds Byo-yomi period, each round starts every 40 min. No byes, if you miss the round you'll be out of the tournament.
17x17: Even game, 5 rounds Swiss tournament, all the games will be played in the same day. 15 minutes Main time plus 5 x 30 seconds Byo-yomi period, each round starts every 1 hour. You can have 1 bye in this division.
23x23: Even game, 5 rounds Swiss tournament, 3 rounds on the first day 2 roundson the second day. 35 minutes Main time plus 10 x 15 seconds Byo-yomi period. You can have 1 bye in this division.
37x37: Even game, 5 rounds McMahon tournament (bars are at 10k and 1d), 1 game per day over 3 weekends. 20 minutes Main time plus 5 x 30 seconds Byo-yomi period. Ranked players only. Please make sure to register with your strongest account. You can have 1 bye in this division.
