July KGS+ Crazy Boardsizes tournament : 21x21 Asian/European Division (Winner: Syptryn)

Welcome to the July KGS Plus tournament!

Crazy Boardsizes! 11x11, 17x17, and 21x21: The tournament rules will be slightly different than usual for this month: All the KGS users will be able to register, and users can join several divisions if they want to (but you can only get 1 prize). Remember, prizes are given out every round, so even if you don't think you can win your division, you still have a chance at getting a prize!

11x11: Even game, Single elimination, will be played in the same day. 5 minutes Main time plus 5 x 30 seconds Byo-yomi period, each round starts every 30 min.

17x17: Even game, 7 rounds Swiss tournament, all the games will be played in the same day. 15 minutes Main time plus 5 x 30 seconds Byo-yomi period, each round starts every 45 min.

21x21: Even game, 6 rounds Swiss tournament, 2 rounds per day over 3 days. 35 minutes Main time plus 10 x 15 seconds Byo-yomi period.

Prizes

  1. The winners of the 11x11 division will get 1 month of free KGS Plus.
  2. The winners of the 17x17 division will get a gift certificate from Kiseido, and 1 month of free KGS Plus.
  3. The winner of the 21x21 American/European division will get a free Korean-style Insei League place for a month (after September), and 1 month of free KGS Plus.
  4. The winner of the 21x21 Asian/European division will get a gift certificate from Kiseido, and 1 month of free KGS Plus.
  5. All the runner-ups will get 2 weeks of free KGS Plus.
  6. Each round, 1 week of free KGS Plus will be awarded at random.
