December KGS+ Blitz Tournament, American/European daytime 3k and weaker division (Winner: kspar)

Welcome to the December KGS Plus tournament!

19x19, Blitz, Single Elimination! The time settings are 6 minutes Main time plus Canadian 3min20sec / 25 moves (6m + 3min20sec / 25moves), the time settings are very short. There will be 1 round every 30min, all rounds in the same day. Make sure your connection is stable and to use our anti-slip system. For your move to be accepted you must hover for ¼ second before making your move. You only have 8 seconds per move on average, so knowing exactly when to click is very important!

Important: Conditions for tournament entry:

• 50 non-KGS Plus members will be allowed to each Open division. KGS Plus members are always welcome!
• Players who have been previously disqualified from a KGS tournament are not allowed.
• Kyu Handicap division is limited to Plus members with a solid rank. You must enter with your strongest account, have played rated games for at least 6 weeks, and have played at least 30 games before November 30.
• Contact the user "sweety" if your KGS Plus account is not your strongest account.
• Please be respectful to your opponents. Rudeness or escaping won't be welcome either.
• You can ONLY play in ONE division. Please don't register for more than one division.

People who do not fullfill those conditions but register anyway may be disqualified anytime (before the tournament starts, during a game, during a round, or even once all the rounds are over). A disqualified player will have no prize and won't be allowed to enter upcoming tourneys.

Prizes

1. The winners of the Kyu divisions will get a $25 gift certificate each from Kiseido, and 1 month of free KGS Plus.
2. The winner of the Asian/European daytime Open division will get a free Korean-style Insei League place for a month, and 1 month of free KGS Plus.
3. The winner of the American/European daytime Open division will get a $22 gift certificate from Kiseido, and 1 month of free KGS Plus.
4. The runner-up of each division will get 1 month of free KGS Plus.
5. Each round, 1 week of free KGS Plus will be awarded at random.
